Our Mission

The mission of the Society of Professional Assessors is to distinguish its members as recognized assessment professionals; well prepared knowledgeable practitioners who subscribe to the highest ethical standards in the discharge of their respective duties. One way we accomplish this is by providing affordable, timely educational programs on relevant topics, sharing our experience and knowledge with each other.

We are a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the advancement of professional standards, theory, and practice within the assessment profession. Our members come together from diverse backgrounds and functions where they can meet on a common platform for the purpose of sharing knowledge and information. In the process, the quality of property tax administration in general is improved.
